He has been admitted to hospital for excision of a tumour on his right calf. The wound has become infected and he is on IV antibiotics. He refuses to eat the hospital food and his family visit frequently to provide him with meals. They are also insistent on providing all personal care and often question the quality of the wound care. Staff are frustrated by these actions.
